Well did your team have a timekeeper on the day Cohiba? Did he go and inform the home club that the time had elapsed? was there a problem with the siren etc?
If you read the original post you will see I didn't detract from the visitors accountability... I pointed out that if there is a ??? mark re the timekeeping the onus is for the visiting team to provide a "watchdog" to ensure the integrity of the timekeeping duties is maintained. If they don't you could get done over...... Also to take someone else's point there are times when clubs maybe short on volunteers to cover the job.....hoping again a sense of fair-play is assumed. If not, and because the accountability remains with you, there is no recourse of action you can take if goes pear shaped. All it does is creates a great deal of animosity. All I have done is highlight an incident where this problem arose. And yes the club did question the time elapsed in the last quarter and got a 'smart alec" response. Read the original post Cash!!!!!
