Not going anywhere I believe.
Has no plans to retire in next 5 years
Called a press conference to announce he is having hip surgery at start of next season and will be absent from roughly the first 6 weeks of season

probably him jumping around on the side lines when the mancs don't get enough fergie time to score is the reason for his surgery ;)

News here is that Moyes won't be signing a new contract with Everton as he is leaving to become assistant to Fergie. He will do 12 months under Fergie's wing before taking over in 2014

Yep the great man will retire at end of the season
Bit of a shock to the club.
He will now become a director and be on the board so will still have a huge influence in what goes on.
Really hope we target Mourinho now

could it be that fergie was seeing the light, and the way the amount of money was being thrown around that he could see that the mancs maybe would not be able to compete with shity or chelksi ??

All good, getting out whilst his team is on top unlike a certain other manager who has well and truly stayed past his use by date ;)

bringing in fergie would not helps us either to get any further than we are, the board needs changes, not the manager.

No secret he has had health concerns.
Will take up the running of the club without putting in the 12-14 hours per day like he currently does.
Had to end some time, now is as good as any.
Dont think the money is a concern, Glazer has promised over £100m this transfer season( yes thats a drop in the ocean for City and the Chavs)

Wenger is a brilliant manager but I think he has become a bit stale.

Contract talks between Abramovich and Mourinho have broken down.
Hopefully we come in and pinch him from under their feet.
Not sold on Moyes personally

I doubt jose will go there, he wants a club that can spend more than there fair share of money IMO, like shitty and chelski.

Whatever the case, it will be very interesting to see how they go next season now. Mancs supporters here in oz upset now as fergie is not coming

very big shoes to fill. For another manager to step into his shoes to continue what he did, is a big weight on whoevers shoulders. Good luck to that manager I say, it will be tough ;)

Hopefully Mourinho is the new manager, definitely do not want Moyes. Not sure he is cut out for a top club.
