Once upon a time Fergie leaving would have created great hope for Liverpool supporters, but we are that far off the pace Alan Pardew could manage them and we'd still be double digits behind the bastards!

Fergie and Mourinho are good friends. They regularly catch up for chats and remain in touch
Apparantly after games against each other they would go into the managers rooms and share a bottle of red and chat for ages. After our loss in the CL to them Mourinho and Fergie stayed in the office for 4 hours chatting.
Reckon they would be ok together, definately better working conditions than under Abramovich. At least Mourinho wouldnt get sacked if he didnt win anything in the season

For a club wanting to punch above it's weight and give occasional cheek to the big boys, Moyes is the ideal fit.
At Everton he's never had the pressure of expectation but at club like United with it's embarrasment of riches there's massive expectation.

Terrible news. There was a reason he was around 1.40 in betting I guess,

Granted he's not been tested with a big club and Europe etc, but I reckon he'll be an excellent appointment for Man U .. Everton have always played a good quality style under him despite not having the cash of most other clubs, and he'll have Fergie to work closely with. I reckon he has the potential to be another long term successful manager for Man U. I reckon Mourinho has the potential to win them a coupla trophies, but it would end in tears after 2 or 3 years.
