I for one would like to hear how Angle Vale are going. They have been very, very quiet on here...

80% of the posters that frequent this thread are from the Farm, Angle Vale have 1 or 2 two posters max.

Fair point Morell. Im sure if other clubs had as many people posting as IF then we would hear alot more about those clubs.
From the teams we have played so far Houghton were the most impressive IMO. They smashed us all day. Angle Vale would want a few of their bigger bodied players back for when they meet Houghton next week. Smithfield have improved and keep on improving. I expect them to be up there by the end of the season.

That was our strongest side for the year so far. Structurally perfect. A couple of lads will need the week off against Broadies on Saturday, but hopefully for our two home games in Round 8 & 9 we are near full strength again.

Beleive me.........I'm not liking the IF publicity show at the moment either. Sometimes i wish some people would shut up and just let us get on with our business quietly

HBF, exactly what I was getting at,very hard coaching a side with all this unwanted pressure on it.As I tried to explain to you 12 months ago, just keep it low profile and the ladder will do the talking. Houghton would be laughing their heads off, going along under the radar.

You guys were always going to draw alot of attention this season after the past couple of seasons. Even when IF were losing they had a lot of publicity. The publicity you guys are recieving this season is due to alot of hard work but I question some of the theatrics behind it, not so much from IF people but by others.

premiership favourites will always come under a degree of scrutiny - moreso when they don't perform as well as the punters thought they would.

Doesn't help that your C grade coach is a troutmouth (love you Bedge ;) ) or that other media outlets have uneccessarily put spotlight on the A grade coach and the club, which the A grade coach (love you too Knowlesy ;) ) played along with at first but has now realised it's all very over-rated and just wants to get on with improving his club and winning a flag.

Can't argue with you there!

You're being a bit harsh on your other comments though FC. The A Grade Coach being mentioned can't be held responsible for anything somebody writes about him in another media forum we won't mention. Part of his job is to sell and promote his club just so happens someone has taken it too far which is not his fault. I do know this so called nickname thing was none of his own doing and he hated it from the start. My old mate is doing a fantastic job and doesn't need people talking tripe about him or the farmers, he's put in the hard work over the past 2 years and he's finally reaping the rewards he deserves.

I just hope he can stay focussed on his next challenge :P

Wayne and Geoff sitting in a tree ;)

I agree that things often get taken too far but like quick sand the more you fight it often the worse it gets.

No harshness there at all! and I would never talk tripe about your boyfriend ;) - he knows I'll always tell it like it is.

but you of all people should know what it's like to be dribbled about uneccesarily and having undue pressure put on your club.

Maestro ;)

everyone is saying that if you can't win a flag with the squad you've got there'd have to be some questions asked because apparently you're the most influential coach in the league according to your other mate..

the reality is that you're a div 6 coach with a bloody fantastic squad of players that chave been unable to get the job done. It's not harsh, it's not an attack.. it's fact.

There was plenty of IF posts in the Div6 thread last year (and 2011), wouldn't be too hasty suggesting they are bandwagoners if I were you, they are a very loyal bunch that stick together through the good and bad times

Again as a Coach we don't have control on what others outside our clubs think or perceive, everyone is entitled to their opinion good on them. Not sure why you've brought me into this though I'm just backing up a mate because I know more than most how much work he puts in, I'll be sure to agree with everything u say in the future I'm sorry.
