Arsenal won't really threaten until they get some seriously loaded benefactor
£60m is sweet fa these days when players are earning £250k (£10m) a year.
Even when they finally pay off the debt for the Emirates, they just don't have enough dough to compete with Chelsea, City or United.
They will take comfort in finishing 4th as in reality these days qualifying for the CL is more important than winning the EPL title as it is worth more financially.
Arsenal have been lucky over the last few as there hasn't been anyone else to threaten that CL spot. Spurs have made a push recently but fallen short. The big loss to the CL battle is Liverpool. They have been woeful over the last 1/2 a dozen years.
A stronger Spurs or Liverpool would seriously threaten Arsenal's CL position. IMO Man U, Man C and Chelsea are going to be there for the foreseeable future leaving 1 CL place for whoever is strong enough to claim it. Should Arsenal miss out, it might spell the end of their top 4 status.
When that happens, assuming he is still at the helm, Wenger will be gonski
