One off celebrity appearance?

Hardly celebrity's lol. ;)

Hard to think it would be anymore than a one off. Nick seems to be doing alright as a lawyer over in vic. Dunno what Ben does. I'm assuming lawyer too??
Maybe Finn can fill us in. I'm guessing a past players day coming up would be the game their playing in to attract a huge crowd?

Wonder what their clubs think about that if it is a one appearance and they are still playing for them.
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

I know we happily give permits to our country kids during holidays; if it keeps them happy why not?

It is more than a 1 off, all boys have moved back to Adelaide for family reasons and will play for the rest of the year.

Certainly as something, runner perhaps? And, yes, he'll be playing in some Blacks side.

The halfway mark of the season has come and gone.

Are you surprised at the results of the season thus far? If so, who and what?

For mine, I didn't anticipate St. Peters OC to drop off the pace so quickly. However, I also didn't see them as a contender this year.

This week:

Rostrevor OC v Goodwood Saints - Match of the round, easily. Both sides are coming off strong wins, and getting the points today would surely enable the victor to claim favouritism for the flag. This match promises to be a close one, and Rostrevor OC may be able to take advantage of their larger ground at Campbelltown. But I feel that if the Saints' backline can hold their own against Litster and Manuel, they'll come out ahead, but only just. Goodwood Saints by 8 points.

St. Peters OC v Broadview - The winner today will be one game out of the top 5, while the loser will be locked into an interesting ménage à trois with Gaza and PHOS Camden in the relegation zone. This game will salvage the hopes for one side, while ending the ambitions for the other for this year. My (often wrong) instinct tells me that St. Peters will be too hard to beat at home, but Broadview will keep plugging away until the final siren. St. Peters OC by 13 points.

Gaza v Henley - Last week's 4 point win over Salisbury North proves that Henley are far from a spent force, and their clean use of the ball on both hand and foot will be tough for any opposition. Gaza would be on cloud nine after a shock win over Tea Tree Gully last week, and furthermore, would be eager to show that it was no fluke. But against a seasoned unit in the Sharks, they'll have to do it the hard way. A win for Henley would ensure at least 4th spot, in my opinion, while a win for Gaza would make life interesting for the sides on the southern half of the ladder. Henley by 19 points.

Salisbury North v PHOS Camden - The Hawks would no doubt be smarting after a loss to Henley last week, and unfortunately for PHOS Camden, I predict they'll cop a hiding on the scoreboard today. Salisbury North are much stronger in each department than the Phantoms, and have the arsenal to exploit that fact. However, they can't afford to rest on their laurels, as Rostrevor OC awaits next week. PHOS Camden are surely playing for pride, and that in itself can be dangerous for opposition sides. However, pride will only get you so far. Salisbury North by 50+ points.

Adelaide University v Tea Tree Gully - Who would've predicted a Gullies loss to Gaza last week? Tea Tree Gully would be desperate for a win today to keep pace with the top 5, as would Adelaide University. All the talk this week has been of the Holland boys and Duncan Kelleway being cleared to Uni, and of course they'd be valuable aquisitions to any club. But they can't pin all their hopes on 3 players, even with their respective records. I see the Gullies' multitude of goalkicking options being too hard for University to overcome. Tea Tree Gully by 23 points.
