Turbo - is that the best response that you could come up with. After a smart ar.. response you can't even offer an apology.

The SFL does not need people like you involved. As clubs are struggling with juniors we need passionate SFL people to be constructive to look at solutions that are best for the league.

By your post and response, you are not one of those people.

Crawl back under the rock you came from or come up with something positive.

Rush a point - if you had a clue I might consider talking to you.
Do not make self righteous statements about someone you don't know. So bugger orf and complain about something else. I ain't interested

Turbo - you were the one who satrted this post by a smart ar.. post. I am glad that I don't know you, because looking at your posts, you are the one without a clue.

Start thinking positively about the SFL otherwise don't post.

Enlighten me how I don't have a clue.
Didn't realise you were the forum police. Don't need to justify anything to you

Talking numbers Ive heard Reynella have 30 Under 10's in each of their 2 teams, players going to have to miss games.

Flaggies could do with some more Under 8's so if you want your kid to play in a great junior system head on out on Friday nights from 6pm

Reckon at last count Cove have an abundance of Under 8's. The problem (if it is one) is that they (or their parents) want them to play for their local team for proximity reasons thereby making it difficult to encourage them to play elsewhere to receive more game time etc.

Tomorrow marks the A grade debut of a kid who came to Lonsdale as an under 12 to get a game, after being told 3 weeks in a row by his previous club that he'd get a game next week. That's a kid who could have easily given up on footy.

Good on you Lions

Tomorrow marks the A grade debut of a kid that played 14s at Happy Valley before he was pulled into the South Adelaide system and his parents moved to Port Noarlunga - Vikings loss and Porties gain when he wasnt playing at South. Last year no 18s team at Porties and kid now has his licence so comes back to the Big V - moral of the story make juniors an enjoyable experience and you never know when they may come back
;)

If this kid is who i think it is, Congratulations T.P .....well deserved, He's Hard at it, In and under type who can run all day, gets in the right places to get the ball, very skillful young lad. Will definitely make his opponent wary of him. As i said ....Well deserved and well earned T.P.

It certainly was Travis Pearce. Not sure how he went yesterday, but if his preseason form is any guide, he will be a very good contributor for many years. Congrats to him on his selection.

A 16 and 17 yo got to experience their 1st A grade win yesterday. Great stuff.

A big thank you to Brighton for lending a few 14s on Saturday. Lions had only 15 players with a few unavailable we appreciate Brighton playing in the right spirit it's what junior football is all about.

That's a good result. Hopefully the clubs can hang onto them and keep them interested in playing footy into juniors and beyond.
Seems to be a big drop off at Under 14's, then again at 18's, but would be good to see some better retention to keep the comp improving.
Hard to compete with jobs, girlfriends, alcohol and partying I know, but a strong 18's is the only way the SFL can improve in the longer term.

Seems to be only Under 10's for some reason, 8's and 12's have 20 teams.

Marion, Aldinga, Morphie Parks, Lonsdale & Hackham the only sides not to have at least 2 u10's teams.

A bit arrogant given the cove recent performance in the 1's
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Just an observation of results over the previous 10 years, taking into account the rigged draw.

You want to considier the last ten years in determing who plays in div 1 and 2? I would suggest last two season, max three. That should take into account the seeding of the draw.

This has been kept quiet, does anyone know what punishment has been handed out?

Hello All,
Could someone update me regarding whether a u/12 player who is playing up a grade in u/14's could go back to u/12's for the carnival at the end of the year?
2 lads have played 1 game in u/12 this year only.
Cheers.

Would suggest you would have to check with club secretary on that one. There may be a qualification number of games required.
