7 are currently at AFL clubs and 3 are at South (I think still) leaving 31 in the "football wilderness".

You could have just said "7 at AFL clubs and 34 in the football wilderness".

I think it's Guilhaus and he's at Centrals....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Anyone who has ever worked or played with Mass knows that he is his own biggest fan. Very good at talking the talk, particularly when it comes to talking himself up and others down. I can understand why the GFC board thought he might be the right man for the job because he has the fancy words and sentences to come across as being pretty impressive. Pity that's all it is - words. And lots of that talk is just down right odd, leaving players perplexed and not being able to be made sense of. That and the fact that he couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

Nathan Bassett is one of the biggest figjams going around, but he is successful and can back it up.

As soon as things start going pear shaped, he'll (Bassett) be out on his arse like all coaches are at the end of their tenures.

There is no secret magic formula for success, so everyone has to work it out for themselves ... let's say that the Bays are a bit challenged in that department at the moment, but they're not on their Pat Malone either.

I honestly think the SANFL clubs have a habit of sacking coaches with knee jerk reactions.

I don't remember how bad the Bay finals performances were during Mickan's tenure. I recall they lost by a couple of goals or less? Either way very disappointing but in hindsight it was probably a bad move.

41 games as senior coach for just 16 wins and 25 loses, that includes 21 home games for just 9 wins.

With an average losing margin of around 45+ points

could the reserves coach step up if needed??? serious question. Doesn't always have to be a big name...

Mickan's record as coach of Glenelg in finals is about 22% better than Massie's. Just saying.

I think I saw and heard an example of that on Sunday night at presentations
