It doesn't matter how low we go to hide Hughes, he's still horseshit.

I tend to agree I'm just saying that's the team I think the selectors will pick

Hopefully he's in England trying to teach Siddle how to swing the ball. Australian conditions only for Siddle in my book.

Stats would back u up as well, only averages under in two countries outside Australia which is Sri Lanka where he has played one test and SAF where is averages high 29's which on those bowler friendly pitches isnt grear, this despite test batting being at an all time low imho

Agreed. No way should Siddle be more than a back up over in England. Pick bowlers who can take wickets in English conditions. Siddle isn't one of those.

I'm here, and it's nice to know you are all thinking of me. ;)

Sids obviously softened them up a bit. Besides Pattinson and Starc (who as I said would be in my first test team), the other bowlers all took a bit of a pasting. Luckily, Sids test match record stands up.

Now **** off, I'm going to watch the footy.

Questionable.

I had to laugh at my mate whose a Richmond supporter, he calls Siddle the 'Jake King of Australian Cricket'

His own supporters love him become he has a crack at every single contest and is extremly competitive but when you look at the nitty gritty thats really all he offers. Lacks the class to match it with the elite regualry and if the side is to become a top 4 contender he probably wouldnt be getting a game. Has a few massive highlights but his flaws are covered by his 'second efforts' and the fact he is a bit of a pin up boy for the club. He has that underdog/battler quality which the Aussie public love.

A fit Ryan HArris can do what Siddle does, but better.
Bird, Pattison,Starc,Harris,Lyon. Watson to bowl 2 four over spells in a day. Surely wont break down doing that.

Back ups, Sayers, Siddle, Faulkner,Agar

Watson should only ever play Test cricket as an opener. He's a liability anywhere else as proven in recent series'.

Cowan should be a 'lock' at the top of the order.
When Warner is available I don't think there's room for both him and Watto in the batting lineup.

I like the analogy, If Boof has any major say in selection Rhino will play.
I'd like to see Rhino and Pattinson share the new ball with Bird, Watson and Lyon the others.

I fear that the attack maybe Siddle , Johnson/Starc, Pattinson and Lyon

Boof and Marsh are the selectors on tour. Inverarity has the casting vote if required. Boof has a very big say in what it will look like.

Have the county sides been instructed to bowl short and wide to Hughes with no one behind point?

He will want to win the ashes back and win the World Cup on home soil
