Big call! Lost to Angle Vale two weeks ago, who also beat IF on sat! Smithfield are good but still are not even guaranteed a spot in the top 5 yet!!!!! You would think they will make it but wouldnt want to get ahead of themselves as it seems to be game on for top 5 finish!!

All teams from 1 to 7 are capable of winning at moment, all teams would have alot of injuries this time of year and would be relying on their depth. Come finals time though every man and his dog comes back in and the best teams will be very hard to beat!!!!

Good luck to all teams, its game on!!!!!

Don't cry just because you got caught with your hand in the cookie jar. :D Adelaide Uni and Modbury were called out in the past for sandbagging, now it is your turn.

Both have been playing well, though both are currently injured, hopefully get Kane back in a couple of games and Dylan by the end of the minor round.

Take it as a compliment Panthers. Your lads were great on Saturday and will take some stopping if you can keep your best team on the park. Your forwards are hard to match up on with Webber and Lane as 2 big targets in the forward 50, Nisbett gives you a target at CHF when needed and Jackson plays as a tall and a small plus has some real pace to burn. You have some talent in the midfield with Cook and Hanuman who are also dangerous around the goals when resting. Stewart on a wing gives you heaps of outside run and Micky Lane is a freak. Your back 6 is solid and work well together. The only area I thought you guys lacked was in the ruck where a solid ruckman like Garner from Ingle Farm would give their midfielders first use.

2 big games this week Flinders Uni V Flinders Park & Smithfield V SHOC. For me Flinders Park and Smithfield will be the winners. Another important game is Houghton V Henley. Henley I think can surprise teams on their day and Houghton will be desperate to win and keep a game clear of Angle Vale who will be looking for a percentage booster against my mob but hopefully we can make a game out of it. Broadies will be hoping they can do the same against Ingle Farm but after Ingle Farm coming off a loss they will be looking to put a big win on the board.

Going through the remainder of the season I think the ladder will end up like this:

Ingle Farm
Angle Vale
Houghton
Smithfield
Flinders Park
SHOC
Flinders Uni
Henley
North Pines
Broadview

If games go the way I think they will then Round 17 Flinders Park V SHOC will determine who finishes 5th or 6th.

Run me through your definition of sandbagging? Fact is there is a group of blokes aged in their 30's (and 40's) who struggle to train once a week let alone commit to what is required for div 7 and want to have a kick together. Granted a couple of them still could handle that level but what's better than just running around with a group of mates in your later years, that's what amateur footy is about. I highly doubt there is a deliberate decision by the club, coach or players to stack the D's.
