Junior Boon (17) usually moshes out at this type of show, he goes to a gig nearly every week. Tonight, I'm taking Little Miss Boon (12) to her first "big" gig. (In her eyes anyway)
She's been to a couple of all ages gigs at Folwers etc but nothing like this tonight. She reakons she's going to hit the pit with the rest of them. Bzzzt. Wrong. We'll scope around the sides and have a good look at whats going on, but Dad will be watching.

Little Miss has been well educated, moshed out in amongst it.![]()
Dream on dreamer - Not bad, enjoyed the vocals of the guitarist more than the lead screamer.
Devil wears Prada - WTF was that all about? Not for me at all. Too much of that off beat double bass drum head bang every second riff type of stuff. Cant fault the singers on stage enthusiasm though. He loves it.
A Day to Remember - Had listened to some of their work prior to going last night and they were growing on me. They certainly showed last night that they know how to put on a show. Crowd went nuts from start to finish with the faithful pretty much singing what seemed to be a very popular set list from go-to-woe.
Only down side. A bloke nearing 40 stood out like a sore thumb. I felt.....old.

Yeah, they do mate. It's a scene full of tattoo's, ear stretchers and piercings. Has a pretty big straight edge movement in amongst it too. From a parents point of view I can deal with some ink (I have some) if I know my kids are going straight edge.
I dont think my son will, my daughter might. All in all, I'd rather them listen to/go to see that sort of stuff compared to a Bieber or 50 Cent.
