Cheers PhilH :)

And thanks for playing our club song this time! Sounded fabulous! ;)

p.s. there were a few undisiplined / gutless acts from Eags players today. Two reports?

Surely just because the FK count was so much in favour of Sturt doesn't mean WT got shafted. Maybe they were just undisciplined as the 2 Reports might suggest?

Sumner was reported early. Presumably striking off the ball. He was out of sorts today, the worst game he's played this season.

Lewis was the other report. Nothing in that. One of those incidents where he got to the ball a split second late and collected the Sturt player front on. The Sturt player was fine and kicked the goal.

Really? Didn't hear that. Just presumed he was ok after he slotted the goal from the boundary. Still, there was no malice in the Lewis one, but you never know what they will do at the tribunal.

Sumner clocked Coad in the head. Lewis shouldn't be worried. Thought Sumner played better today than last time sturt played them. After his gutless effort playing the man last time he got scared off the ball every time he heard someone near him. At least today he still went for the ball after a taking a swing. Was another Eagles player that took a fresh air swing on the southern F50. Godden needs to look at some serious discipline issues.

Aerie, don't fall for it, just OTR doing what he does best.....
The only game ending injury for Sturt was Evans with a shoulder.

If he didn't that is good news.

After the game, someone posted a short interview with Seamus on fb and he said Evans could be 2 weeks. No mention of hospital though.

As long as it wasn't in poor taste. :D

Didn't tip Sturt to win today so well done to them however the Eagles must be an incredibly frustrating team to follow never knowing whether the good or crap version will turn up.

Really Sabre, you might want to think about what you post. Poor form.

The move of Salter to the backlines was a terrible move by Godden in the 3rd. Sturt started to rebound from half back and any effort the Eagles made to go forward was a waste of time. Ainger was useless and is a liability at the moment. I don't think the Eagles are any better with him in the team as they would be with a Staple or Fitzgerald. If he is not fit then rest him until he can contribute. Big money wasted.

I think that was only a temporary move when Heath had to leave the ground because of the blood rule, also given that we had already lost Thompson.
