Rnd 18: West v Sturt @ Richmond (Sat 3/8)

Postby Wedgie » Tue Jul 30, 2013 8:37 pm

Westies coming off a close loss to the top side should be way too strong for Sturt despite the Double Blue's great win against the Eagles last week.

If its dry I give Sturt a big chance.
I believe its Westies premiership reunion so I think they might just get up by a couple on this special day

Westies gain Jason Porplyzia with enough games to qualify for finals.

Looks like Tambling dropped by the Crows too.

Game of the round IMO. Sturt are in good form and will approach the game with some confidence. Dry conditions would suit their runners and I think they're a good chance to test Westies' defence - guys like McIntyre will need to be watched closely by Westies. Would love to see an upset for the Eagles' sake but West haven't seemed to drop many they should win this year. West narrowly.

Sturt in with a chance of leap frogging Port and going within one game plus percentage of Central on the ladder, if North do the expected. Probably both sides will score about 13 goals.syne Blues... Just.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Go you Blues. Weather will be a big factor for Sturt, we don't seem to go that well in the heavy conditions but will be great to take 6th from the football prostitutes if we win.
