Wasn't that great, but there's a few good ones this week to look forward to. Edwardstown vs Christies should be competitive. Valley vs Noarlunga should also be a good game. Porties vs Brighton and Reynella vs Morphettville Park will also be good contests, so 4 of the 7 have great potential this week to produce some high quality competitive footy.

great win by Flaggies today in the rain, mud, fog and more mud
4-9 4-3
36 players around the ball in the last quarter - just a moving maul
Flaggies were the better team over the game but Cove held on to the lead till half way through the last
well done

Could "Raffle-Gate" be the undoing of the Vikings?

OMM agree was a tough game and full credit to Shoes
Valleys have been hit by the injuries of late and couldn't beat a tough committed Noarlunga outfit

These lads dont like losing and next week will see a determined team head down the hill to take on Brighton - lets hope our GF buddies from last year put up more than a yelp this time rather than their Anzac Day effort

Yes, we gave as much yelp on Anzac Day as your members selling raffle books. Anzac Day was along time ago and our young group will hopefully be better prepared for the Vikings second time around.

Go to near the bottom of page 14 in the Junior Football thread and read on. Nothing like a club crisis to possibly derail a premiership campaign.

EV we all know DTH is nothing if not a good promoter of his club and it seems he is trying to promote HV supposed demise and the upcoming GF rematch to increase his gate takings this weekend

Hate to say it but I don't see how an email to subbies parents is going to affect the A grade team. But hey points for trying
Pity I can't give you some premiership points cos you may need some to make the 8 this year

Nice try DTH. No crisis, no derail and no cigar.
Lost one game in approx 18 months in A grade, all grades top or near top of the ladder. Yep, completely falling apart at the Valley.
The loss yesterday will be a very timely wake up call leading into finals, but well done to a very hungry Noarlunga side who played very tough footy in very tough conditions. All other grades won comfortably on the day.

Sorry, not trolling guys, but well done to Mitts and the shoe boys on a terrific win over Dingers powerhouse Vikings. For what it's worth Mitts took over the reigns from Dent at Townies so I'm sure it was a little special win for him and I was an assistant to both of them in one way, shape or another. The Towns are now up there nipping at both their heels so it's fair to say both gentleman had a bit to do with that success as well. I'll go now. Thanks.

If only it was like this every week!
The only time i've ever been wrong...was when I thought I was wrong!!!

Likewise MF injuries have hit the Shoe all season and still missing Caudle/Dobrovolskis/Ridley/Shulz/Goldfinch/Thompson with the first 3 to return in the next week or two.

Agreed- August sees most clubs with a decent injury list.
