Would have lessened he price of the contract . That doesn't usually happen on Andy's watch

Andys a knob. But I still doubt he'd leave himself wide open like this. He's actually a very smart businessman.

I don't disagree with you, but any such clause would severely dent the value of the agreement, and he generally has proven more than capable at delivering top dollar to AFL coffers.

What's going to take a longer term hit on profits? A scandal such as this turning away fans and sponsors potentially in coming years aswell as damaging the brand long term, or standing up for the integrity of the game and potentially losing cash short term?

Keeping in mind if hypothetically they were booted the league insurance would cover the loss of forecasted earnings within reason. The holding a gun to the leagues head with loss of revenue is invalid and as I said last page if this wasn't included in paperwork then sack the execs .... Especially with a gfc so fresh in their minds.

Not going to happen mate, no club is ever going to get de-registered (without a replacement club in the wings)

Is this making the club doctor look worse by the day?

Is this that big that Bruce Reid could be disciplined by medical board? His professional reputation is surely tarnished beyond repair by all this.
I cant believe someone in his position would allow this to happen. Pretty bloody ordinary.

From what I was reading in the article it will fall on Danks head as he was the "head" of the supplement program.
There is still so much in the grey area in the whole process!

I really feel for Bruce Reid in all this. Played second fiddle to McGrath his whole career, snapped in half while bowling for Australia and, when he finally puts himself back together, gets caught up in this mess.

Tragedy.

Channel 7 are claiming Hird has been given an ultimatum by the AFL.
If he resigns by Tuesday they will let the other 3 off without charges.
What a corrupt bunch of carnts, Demetriou has to be brought down in all this mess

Messrs Galbally and Burnside will probably have something to say about that - in court I suspect.

Dont disagree there Hondo but blackmailing isnt the way for the AFL to go about it.
They are basically saying if Hird pleads guilty then the others are not guilty, if he pleads not guilty they are all guilty.
The law just doesnt work like that.
The other 3 are either guilty or not.
They should be offering Hird 12 months and if he he doesnt accept and is found guilty they up to it 2-3 years
