Some scary people in Berri. Centrelink capital of the Riverland is a bit of a freak magnet.

I like Berri as a town, but I always feel nervous whenever we moor our boat there, we never stay overnight, I always try and moor somewhere either up or downstream without road access. A few years ago we went there with The Riverland Cruising Boat Club, we had our final night in the Berri Resort, the boat club hired security guards to keep an eye on the fleet of about 70 boats, a sad indictment :(

few intresting characters at night, but i think you get that just about anywhere really.
Wasn't planning to stay the night but decided to around 10pm, glad i did.
i really hope this possibly becomes an annual thing, i would love to play up there once a year.
only thing i can really complain about is being woken up sunday by the footy siren, and the fire alarm going off at 1:30am in the hotel.
also loved the fact the bottle-o had Bluetounge Lager. :D
