Riddler, you are my best mate in footy, you were instrumental in putting me in the right place to be successful at MP last year and I know we've had many chats this year too. The footy world is a better place for who you are. Take a break, maybe a coffee with Yank Man at the footy 2014 where we can pick teams apart. The one thing I do know about you is you will ensure Mawson Lakes will be in a good possy going forward. Please guys, no innuendos, just applaud a great footy person.

To my good mate Riddler, all the best for what may lay ahead. You have given your heart and soul to the MLFC and the club is certainly a better place thanks to yourself. Certainly one of the great blokes that I have come across in the saafl and the void left at the Lakes will be hard to fill. I honestly wish you well Tino Best. Enjoy your time with Kristy and Tai mate, and I have no doubt that this time away will only be a short break.

Wow! I did not expect this. Thank you all for your kind words it is much appreciated. This is why I love football, no matter what club you're from, no matter what rivalries there are we all stick together.

Yes I stepped down as Coach last night which was one of the hardest decisions I've ever made in my life but it's something I think is best for both myself and the footy club. I've met some super people in my time at Mawsons around the traps and made some friends I'll have for a long long time but I'm not dead haha I'll still be around the place and hope to catch up with you all for a scotch or 2 in the future. Thank you again for the well wishes

CLG have a very strong Top 4 which could steal votes from each other. Frank from Rosewater has a bit less competition and given how many games they won should be a strong favourite to take it out, Easton & Harvey still my picks though, Josh Pearce to come home with a wet sail and had he played all year would have gone close to winning much like Flanigan.

My money would be on Harvey no way you kick as many goals as what he did and not get noticed. From us Franga is who i would back but I think schar may have been leading are vote tally before he done his injury.

Maestro sacked or resigned?

Geoff has resigned from his role tonight in a very emotional speech to the club. What Geoff has done for the club cannot be put into words and we as a club fully support Geoff in his future endeavors.

Well done Geoff. Great job over the years and instrumental in the big changes to SPOSFC that will only make the club bigger and stronger in years to come.
You know you are always welcome at IFFC and we would welcome you home at any time, although i don't know if i could put up with the Maestro and the Pleasure Machine together for a whole year.

lolwut! I have missed 4 games! Must have been a distant 4th.

Probably an indication of the volatility of our b grade side in that our better players swap and change each week.
