if results go as expected, ingle farm and angle vale will go to Div 6

Adelaide Uni will come down to Div 7

So this will leave ...

Houghton
Flinders Uni
North Pines
And possibly Smithfield

in Div 7 next year :(

still not quite the C-Grade Super League

but 6 or 7 c-grade sides is better than 4 :supz:

A lot of water to go under the bridge yet. Could be a number of changes during the off-season.

Flinders Park $1.50 v Angle Vale $3.00
With Flinders Park's C-men failing last week their D's will benefit from greater player availability against a side they have already knocked off twice this year.

Henley to play in the grand final.

Very ambiguous comment.. Henley to beat Ingle Farm this week or Henley to lose and then beat Flinders Park?

Going to be similar conditions to that Round 9 game as well. Will not be a pretty day's football - muddy and rough as guts.

Congratulations to Jesse Gibb who plays his 150th game for HDFC in tomorrow's Semi-Final. He has had a great season and been only one of two players to have played every A-Grade game this year.

Better bring the webbed boots.
She's a bit soggy at Rowe Park.
I reckon the grounds soaked up as much as it could in the past few weeks.
It's sitting on top now.

The basin is full now.

It drains really well, if it stays dry until go time you'd be surprised, but was very heavy under foot last night, extremely soft around the ground, regardless of the water it will be a good old fashioned slog.

Who do the conditions favour more then? Henley, Angle Vale or Ingle Farm?

Caught the resies game today at Rowe park. Henley way too good, in saying that what the F*** is Lees doing playing at this level. Mind you the big bloke at full forward was OK, and the bloke in the ruck, and the nude nut. While I think of it the full back played alright and the bloke on the wing. Henley also had a couple of good on ballers to. Totally unfair for these blokes to be playing at this level of football. =D>

After packing the passport and compass I managed to make it up to Houghton to watch the home side demolish Flinders University. Fired up from the onset they won centre clearance after centre clearance. They were phsyical and determined and kept the opposition to a solitary point at the half. The crabs came back in the third, but it was too little to late as the raiders kicked the first in last and were not troubled thereafter. They will be a formidable opponent next week.

As a neutral bystander I was surprised at three quarter time of the div 7R listening to the coach from Angle Vale call out " Get dirty and raise the elbows and let them know they played Angle Value". Especially since the game was over at this point. Not a good advertisement of the great game.
