So Ramage is definitely gone then? Early decision by Flaggies, so I guess they had someone in mind for a while.
Look forward to seeing Paul Roos at the bar after he next derby. :D

Wasn't aware that he had called it a day. Good luck to him and his successor.

Can't believe what I just heard. Is it Happy Valley football club or netball club. You are a disgrace. Footy is a contact sport and accidents can happen. I thought your club had more style than this. Boy was I wrong. This will come back to bite you in the arse. Your club just looks like a bunch of sore looses.

in the words of Pauline ...... "PLEASE EXPLAIN ???????"

And in defence of the Happy Valley Netball Club (who are a very welcome part of the Flagstaff Hill Community Centre - because aparently Happy Valley didn't want them there in their 'temple'), the netball club have always shown the highest level of integrity, honesty and good sportsmanship in my experience :)

Marking contest? Well yeah Jonny was going for the ball...
Some HV supporters heard MVP supporters were coming out with "one down 2 to go" - apparently no 17 and no 3 were the next targets - I guess it's one way to win

Wasn't the only time an ambulance was called that day for a HV player after questionable tactics from the opposition

yes that's what it was a making contest. He got knocked out when his head hit the ground. And what a load of crap one down 2 to go. Supporters can say what they want but they don't know what game plan the coach has. If you think that we went out there with the intention to knock out 3 of your blokes you have no idea on football.

hmmm Murphy was yellow carded was he not?

On a side note is the SFL gate price similar to other leagues finals, CPI adjusted up this year?

If Murphy was yellow carded then it means the umpire saw the incident and assessed it as over zealous but not reportable and worthy of a suspension. That's what Yellow cards are for. Eagleton is built like a jockey and will always come off second best in a contest involving heavy body contact. I'm sure none of us want to see one of the SFL's premier players injured but these things happen. If it was Mahar that Murphy collected he may have dusted himself off and played on.

I witnessed the HV crowd reaction to an aggressive bump put on Pederson-Gray in our recent match. They gave it to our player all day - you would have thought someone had killed Bambi by their reaction. P-G wasn't hurt and even laughed at our player.

Happy Valley should be more focussed on trying to get their Premiership campaign back on track. Several issues at the Vikings in the last month may have derailed that campaign and this could be the final straw.

And can someone respond to Shoe Boy on exactly how is Eagleton.

Think you might find his head was "assisted to the ground" hence the yellow card
May not have been your coaches game plan to knock them out but taking Jonny out of the game sure helped you win. Your supporters reaction to Jonny showed their true colours

Have no fear DTH nothing will stop this jockey having another ride this Saturday

You must have been on the field or blending in with the morphy's crowd if you were that close. I'm pretty sure your supporters will say it was one thing and ours will say the other. But from what i saw it was a football incident where a player hit the ground hard and was knocked out.

Definitely - a legend on the field and a gentleman off the field and one of the greatest captains our club has ever had
