It was an interesting game.
Spent most of it talking to those around me, or wrangling my kid!

That was a bizarre last quarter.
We always look better with Hardy up front.
We need some more pace, an extra tall or two and I'd still like to see more chase from our players; a few were downhill skiing when Glenelg surged in the third.

I got out to Elizabeth in near record time - only took 50 minutes - so was there a good half an hour before the Reserves started. Thanks for turning on the weather, Central District people, although it was a bit breezy.

Our Reserves were horrible and I just watched us slide out of the 5. Basically, we must beat Port this weekend to play finals in the 2's - should happen, but the way we have dropped off in the past month, nothing is assured there.

As for the League game, it was quite bizarre. We were always kind of in it without ever looking threatening. And then the last quarter just turned to pooh. I thought Hayden Jolly played his best game for us ever. Obviously nobody from Central rated him in the third quarter when on the half forward flank, he just kept racking up possessions. Is it because he looks fat and slow?

Anyway, an expected final outcome. The spoon is ours - thanks Sturt, you bunch of pricks.

The 3 men in white where the League's most experienced field umpires officiating this game...

Tony Dey, Theron Philp and Michael Avon, in his 200th senior SANFL game, all did a good job...
