Believe they are offering around 700k per season.
Crameri has been offered around 550k by the Dogs so id imagine he would go.
Ryder still has 2 years to run on a 800k per year contract, he would have to take a paycut to go somewhere else but he will go.
The only positive will be we could lose Jetta and Davey

LMAO Hird will come back and won't know any of the players.

No he won't. Anyway, I don't think too many players will exit the club. Those who do may have been part of the natural attrition in any case. Reports out of Moorabbin suggest one of Goddard's close mates is on for a 2015 move to Essendon.

SP,No one is going to Essendon, it's all one way traffic out of that lying, drug cheating place.
Jim, you will be forced to keep dud's that no one wants like Jetta and Davey as you won't have to make any list management decisions. 10 players will leave that other clubs want meaning you can't afford to delist anyone.
Lucky for you Kommer only came last year and won't have the free agent option.
Maybe this is why they can't find anyone to be caretaker for a year? Get rid of Hird and the players may stay and you might even find a coach

Not sure he wants out but he was be silly not to look at the other offers.
We have offered a 3 year deal, the Dogs have offered 4 years with a fair pay increase that we cant match.
No way we can afford to keep him and Bellchambers unfortunately.
Personally id rather Crammers stay.

Is it about him taking legal action against the club and walking out?
He has released a statement denying this and was very upset at the rumours.

Im hearing Bellchambers is gone though, GWS offering way more than what we can offer.
Looking like a possible deal where Bellchambers and Pears head to GWS and Patton heads our way.

Smart move by the Giants if true, no guarentee that Patton won't be one of those that has a horrible run with ACL's. Boyd/Franklin replaces him and they get a ruckman and some value to their development team in the Sydney reserves comp

Highly doubtful. If they want Bellchambers, they can get him through the preseason draft without giving up Patton.

Or through restricted free agency if the commission okays Essendon players wanting out.

Im hearing that Demetriou has gone into bat for us and this rule wont be enforced.
Perhaps Andy is fearful for his hip pocket, he wouldnt want the bottom line affected too much. Id say he doesnt want us winning a flag anytime soon but he doesnt want us turning into another Melbourne

You might not have a problem with it Days but id imagine Andy D does.
The last thing they want is another club going to them with cap in hand and asking for priority picks every year.
The AFL is probably also scared of opening Pandorra's box with regards to this aswell, remember even though the draft is a massive restraint of trade no one has challenged them on it yet, if they allow this to happen to Essendon im sure other smart lawyers will try to move players to other clubs at whim.

I would never get sick of you going cap in hand to the AFL for draft picks and them rejecting you for the next 10 years

Many other people wouldnt either but Andy needs Essendon to draw crowds to prop up about half the sides in the comp.
Some club has to foot the bill for the cost of living allowance in Sydney ;)

Easy fixed, take the COLA away from Sydney and you can both get cosy at the bottom of the ladder for a few years. Your fine will pay for Roos at Melbourne this year quite nicely. So end of the day the comp doesn't need your dollars, Richmond will more than make up for you for a few years now

I'm sure the AFL can survive without 10,000 Essendon band wagoners turning up for a couple of years. Your club isn't the be all and end all.

Didn't say we were the be all and end all but everyone knows there are only a handful of clubs who prop up the rest.
Would hardly call our supporters band wagoners considering our crowds and membership levels have been roughly similar for years. Might want to look in your own backyard for the band wagoners, Swans have 1 or 2 lean years and you cant give tickets away to go and watch them, we still get 50,000 crowds most weeks and we have been crap for years
