How much value is now placed on playing League Footy in SA??
All those pre-2014 that busted their arse to 'make the grade' - their games are worthless now.
The Crows are 'gifting' ammos 'League Status' - I assume they will be counted as having played SANFL League games.

Integrity?
Compromise?

I Hate the Crows & Trigg...

None of their games will be counted in my book.

Isn't that what AFL players who play for SANFL clubs now do? 1 training session a week?

More garbage from that Rucci article.

Do u think pulling players from the ammos and gifting them league games is not going to hurt the integrity or prestige of playing league football

I don't think they will use Ammo players, hence it being more garbage from Rucci to make a headline.

They will help develop (in theory) young players from SANFL clubs.

Yes, it hurts the integrity/prestige of the competition.

The only way the integrity and prestige of the competition will be upheld will be if the SANFL clubs make sure they're stronger than the AFL ones so come finals time we're watching SANFL players only.

It just gets better
Port have claimed both games against the Cows would be at Alberton whilst the Cows are adamant the SANFL comission told them both games would be at neutral ground, possibly as double headers before Showdowns.
Phil Harper got quite uppity over it, said something along the lines of "The SANFL told us it would be at neutral grounds and they are the ones that make the rules"
He was also very flippant on the whole reserves subject and said they are keen to give it a crack next year and if it doesnt work they will tweak it a bit

I think it's interesting the Crows wanted all of their players under their system and not under those of the SANFL.
But now SANFL clubs are being asked to loan players to the Crows. What will they do when an SANFL coach asked that his loan player be played in a certain position...

Great question. And I'd love to be a "fly on the wall" during the conversation about the answer.

So port magpies being only one claim seems like the rest of your bs doesn't it

No idea what that first line says UK. I think you've written it in French.

When the Eagles were playing matches at Football Park, they didn't have to build new facilities at Woodville Oval. Same goes for South Adelaide who trained at Panther Park, before being GIVEN a multi-million Dollar Noarlunga facility at a peppercorn rent.
But like a (bull)dog with a bone, you keep searching for some minor technicality UK.

Well I have a minor technicality. We were not given a multi million dollar facility. We rent the land (like Alberton) from the council. The facilities were built by us and are still being paid for by us, hence the large debt that remains to be serviced.

There was no "given" at all. The $1M was from sale of assets, which the then PAMFC had to spend upgrading the facilities at Ethelton.

Which then brings us back to the origins of this debate about the Magpies being shunted out of their home base and no-one raising the "fair and equal" scenario.

"Playing to the line" doesn't come in until next year.
