Would love to have seen the current valley side against us at our best. What a contest that would be.
Oh we'll bring on 2014.

Congratulations on your magnificent personal victory Barry.

Wineflies simply too good, no excuses. We were outplayed by a more committed and desperate team today.
Good luck to Roos and Wineflues in the big one, hope it's a great game. Can only console myself with watching the 14 and 16's next week.

Still think the Roos will prevail. Too much tall firepower, but Flies will give it a red hot crack.

I'll be there at 7.15am, but that's as early as I'll do....6.30am must be special entry for bored jockeys.

Was the personal victory not getting reported this week?
Where's Bill? Yeah... Hmm... Bill is on the Villa Quatro, on the road to Salina. I will draw you a map.

Good on the wine flies today - simply a better fitter team on the day, hunted in packs and made the most of their opportunities
It looked like Valleys rolled the dice and played some guys that weren't fit and that is always going to bite you when you come up an opposition who want it desperately
So many times this year we have had a slow start and run over the top of our opponents but Reynella were good from the start - accurate kicking in the last quarter would have helped but we were not good enough.
Think we saw the premiers in action today

Well, guilty as charged. At the start of the season, I anticipated Valleys depth possibly resulting in the treble. A's, B's & C's. Im sure they will look back at this season as the one that derailed. Will be interesting to see how they respond next year.

The big one looks a beauty. Twisties will have a definite edge in speed, but I wonder if they will be able to kick a winning score against the Winies defence. Im tipping no. The Big guy, Milo, is on top of the world at the moment, and I reckon he'll kick a bag, then maybe even hang them up?? Reynella by 18pts.
We're also going to have a new B grade premier for the first time in 6 years!!

Interesting that the two participating teams finished the season in fourth and fifth position. To make the GF Flaggies have beaten eigth (MV) first (HV) and second (Rey.)
