That's why the club switched to hyperdermics.

Goodwin would be my choice but I think the board will take someone from outside of the club.
Laidley has an interview today, I wouldnt be surprised to see him or Harvey get the job

not stirring, but it would be hard job to take... Yeah you've got a great list, but after 12 months you're gone.... Would top 4 finish secure your job for the following year or what about a flag (unlikely to win one)??? It would be hard to pass back to hird if next year is successful, surely!

Ya reckon?

I reckon the sticking point for anyone that would want to do the job has to hand back the reigns at about r 23 to Hird.
Imagine if by some miracle your sitting top undefeated at R22, who in their right mind would want to give it up for that cheat Hird to take the glory.
To get someone they will have to offer it for the whole season

Both Hird and the club have agreed to this I believe.

Having been heavily criticised for not doing background checks when appointing key personnel, Essendon human resources manager Hailey Grimes will join football director Chris Heffernan, interim chief executive Ray Gunston, former Richmond coach Terry Wallace and AFL Coaches Association chief Danny Frawley on the panel.

WTF? How can Frawley do this role when he is head of the coaches association, conflicted much?

I think this may have been done at the AFL's insistance.
Frawley doesnt have a vote I believe, just there to offer up assistance

Yep, didnt want their dirty laundry aired in public.
Big slap in the face for Demetriou who last week slammed the media for saying that the AFL will drop all charges against the Doc.
The Doc has comitted himself to Essendon for 2014 already

I have been told by the milkman, second cousin, best friend, niece who personally knows the uncle of the doorman at the footy club that Mark Harvey will coach next year.

That gels with what I heard from the guy who drives the fuel tanker up here. His brother in law's best friend is a cheese maker who knows Mark Harvey's dentist and was able to confirm the story.
