the first session could determine the outcome, anything over 350 will be a pass as i dont think that wicket is as batsman friendly as we thought it would be, another intriguing days test cricket coming up!

im confused
people saying the pitch is like a road and we should score 5000
then people saying the pitch was more like a day 3 pitch than a day 1 pitch.

can someone tell me what the pitch is actually like

Its a dry, hard piece of turf with white lines at each end and three spear type things at each end ;)

Stokes with his first Test wicket, but no, it's a no ball! Do feel a little sorry for him, but then remember he is a pom

Think you're better than Michael Clarke? Try out our new Ashes Catches game, where you set the field and try to take as many Ashes wickets as possible.

great first session taking the game away from the poms if we get through the first hour after lunch it will allow Johnson and co go the slap , I really want to see Johnson be able to bat this way because if he gets runs again he will bowl well :-)

If the Crows crowds keep following this downward pattern you will need them soon enough too.

Clarke coming close to 8,000 runs, will most likely get there in his 100th Test.

Reckon he will get to 10,000? Or his back may cause him to retire before then?
