Also in the past Adelaide Uni have had more than one side in a division..........

Just curious - when was this and which division?

Central United forfeiting against Flinders Uni tomorrow. Another team on its way out in C5 or is it just too hard to travel across town for a game of footy ????

They could have had a mid-season footy trip and stayed at the uni campus and walked up to Kenilworth the next week,im sure being from central united they wouldnt have jobs to worry about (Joking people, the boys from centrals are great blokes).Nah boys im pretty sure they have an injury list as long as the holy bible and that would explaint the forfeit.

Nah mate, nothing great on my part- we just had a good side to work with! (especially having Penrose in the side)

As if Flinders Uni are in C5. What a joke?? Our A grade played them 2 years ago snd now they're playing our C grade. SAAFL hang your head in shame. It's like your handing Gepps Cross C grade another premiership... SAAFL - No idea...

Sheik Yerbouti has his sons play @ Fitzroy- I've also recruited the son of another poster, who should debut at training tonight.

Yes I agree- not one of their better ideas, especially when C1 only has 9 sides, they should've been with that lot.

Sorry to break it to you, but Flinders Uni beat Hope Valley by 20 plus goals. I think Golden Grove are the onoly team to beat them and that was during school holiday. Even then it wasn't by much..

flinders uni played div 8 last year (this year's div1) and finished second bottom. They finished last or second to in div 7 the year before. They were poo - but i agree that they should have been relegated to the 'next' grade down meaning about c2-4 would be correct.
Least they're not as bad as ovingham - their a grade is in div c6 and they're still only third.
I'm involved with uni, in c1 our fifth team is playing the c grade of all division 1 teams while our c grade plays a grade sides in div 6 and is getting a solid pantsing from all concerned. Sometimes it works while other times such as this year we just don't have the players to be competitive. Swings and roundabouts I guess.

& Hope Valley v Fitzroy for 5th spot should be a cracker!

These 6 sides are fighting for the top 5- Fitzroy have come close in their losses to all bar Flinders Uni (despite getting done by 10 goals, we were on terms with GG at half-time).
Forget about West Croydon, Adelaide Lutheran & Central United.
