I have got over 4000 5c pieces at home - haven't spent one since I was in primary school!

An old girlfriend of mine didn't spend a 50c piece for ten years. Cashed it in and bought a brand new Barina - about $15k worth I believe.

 how much room does that take up!? A lot more than two green bills I'd imagine...

I remember in primary school we all brought in 1c and 2c coins and made a huge line on the basketball court. Can't remember what the money went to, but it was a thing for the parents to keep the coins in a jar for this day each year.

buy 400,000 aluminium cans at 5c each from homeless people, melt the cans down into cast ingots and sell them to the london metal exchange

pure genius. after about 10 years you'll have $200
