top crowd, great atmosphere, footy was scrappy at best, but Sturt just made alot more of their chances than Norwood did.

from listening to the radio, sturts pressure just made the legs fumble and they basically just strangled the legs....chambo was well held but we were able to find other avenues to goal.

woops. That's one of my footytips down already.

I blame all of you too. :) You all talked up a cracker of a game. It will be close this and tight that and Reds are the form team and are Sturt he real deal, and Legs will be up for it after the bye. :D

What rubbish you all talk and I went and believed you. d'oh

Didn't listen on line (thought I would leave as many empty spaces for the legs and Sturt fans, considreate chappy that I am, but it read like a pretty one sided contest. Did Norwood actually show up or did Sturt end up playing the Norwood legends side.

Someone asked the question about the bye. Maybe there is something in that????

And Jas......... ad a few did you  Just because you take goals of Sturt on th here, doesn't mean it really happened  classic. You would have no trouble getting a job on 5RPH. And thanks for putting the sccores up. "Oh they've got another one, you'll have to work it out for yourselves"  Great call Jas Blandis

Seriously, thanks for the scores update

Well done Blues that's an absolute pantsing. Not the conditions to get your pants pulled down either, the shrinkage must have been unbelievable! I couldn't post last night but perhaps some of my girlee pics might have swung the tide!

Too good Sturt. Simple as that.

Damn... wish I had been there... great crowd/atmosphere from the sound of things.

Chambers kicking less than 7 goals a game may help the Blues as much as when he was kicking 7 or more if it's meaning other players are left to roam free. From the sounds of things Feasty had another ripper - what a true legend of the club. Bring on the Bays...

PS. Did Vlatko get injured in the first 30 secs?

Totally unfair on a blistering Sturt performance Sam.

The pressure they exerted on Norwood was good enough to beat any side in any conditions on any day and some of the quick, tough rebounding from the Sturt backline was a joy to watch.

Brilliant stuff Blues.

Cant blame Vlatko he hardly had a chance with the delivery into the forward line......sorry you cant call that rubbish delivery more like dumping !
Sturt forced Norwood back to last years style of football.....sideways and backwards movement to players under pressure and out opf position.
Well coached and well drilled Sturt.

Attendance was between 13000 and 15000?
Sturt looked great in the light blue socks that night as well.

I had a feeling it was about 13,500 Smithy. I'm sure someone will remember. It was great to see though, wish it could happen more often

Totally unfair is very mild MST.

More like sam you idiot. 10 more scoring shots would have to suggest its not about taking your opportunities, its about having those opportunities. The difference between us beating the spreadlegs and goyoudogs beating them was that we took them down when they were in full flight. At the top of their game, just like we did port earlier in the year and just like we did to goyoudogs a couple of weeks ago"

woof woof
But it was more than a victory for Greece. It was a stirring example to free people throughout the world of what a few brave men can accomplish once they refuse to submit to tyranny.
