Indiana dropping game 1 was a big surprise. Atlanta did have a decent record against them this season but still, 1v 8 and home court you don't drop that very often. Most worrying for Indiana was they made some really tough plays to even stay in touch while Atlanta found easy shots all game long. Hibbert right now is a liability and not the strength he was. He was such a problem that Miami dug up Greg Oden just as insurance. Now you're wanting Bosh on Hibbert as much as you can because big Roy isn't being much of a presence inside and Indiana is really struggling with rangy big men.

Not too many other results that are so noteworthy. Mavs need Dirk to be big every night to have a chance, Memphis just seem out of their depth, Clips and Warriors will probably go back and forth every game, Portland v Houston looks a cracker of a series, Nets v Raptors the battle of the no hopers while Washington and Chicago seem to be battling for the title of third best in the East.

Couple of moments that I enjoyed in the games. Hibbert getting blocked by Korver was great. Clean as a whistle too. Says more about where Hibbert's at that at 7 foot he got blocked in the paint by a guard than anything about Korver's shot blocking. Also some audio of LeBron chatting with the crowd, giving high fives during a short break, then straight into team leader mode. He's an impressive player these days, not just the athletic shooting bohemoth he started as.

Big Phil has started swinging the axe. Mike Woodson and the entire coaching staff sacked.
Now need to start on the players, id be chopping plenty and getting some cap room for 2015. FA in 2015 looks like a bonanza

Not sure I can remember the road teams winning the majority ( 5 of the 8 ) of the opening games in a first-round series before.

Since 2004, in the first two playoff games of each series, the 8 home teams have never gone worse than 11-5 in any year. This year? 7-9.

Agree with most but dont rate the Pacers at all and wouldnt be surprised if Atlanta won.
Also think Memphis are capable of an upset and are not out of their depth. Since January the Grizzlies are tied for the second best record in the comp and are have an unbeaten streak at home approaching the 20's

2 big results today backing that up. I'm sure Indiana are better than they're playing right now. They just seem to have lost form and confidence at the wrong time. Memphis are really exposing OKC's depth issues. Another game where they got offense from just Westbrook and Durant and both shot poorly.

So many top teams seem to have issues, this is the best year for some time for a low seed to take it out.

What a game in Dallas.
Ginobili gave the Spurs a 108-106 lead with 1.7 seconds remaining and then Vince Carter throws up a three with 0.3 seconds left and it goes in.
Mavs now 2-1 up
Pacers/Hawks now 2-2
Heat 3-0 up and should sweep the Cats

For the third time in four games Houston and Portland go to OT. Houston led for most of the night. The Blazers win it to go 3-1 up. Another big night from LMA with 29 pts and 10 boards.

Has there been a worse number 1 seed in recent years?
