im sitting in the top 300 out of 160,000 at the moment in AFL fantasy
so its important to me!
In terms of just having a bye round instead of a split round, I dont mind the idea. The problem is that, as mentioned earlier, it creates standalone games would help with ratings etc and given the TV rights are in the 10 figures i doubt they would ever want a week of cold turkey
Roughead ( Hawthorn on McGlynn Sydney ) - 125 points, but with 80 carry over even an early guilty plea gets him a game. ( Misses the Port game at Adelaide Oval.... )
Duffield ( Fremantle on Wingard Port ) 125 points - 6 year good record. 70 carry over points. No games with early plea.
Maguire ( Brisbane on Daniher Essendon ) - 80 points with carry over. 1 game for tripping.
Chapman ( Essendon on Zorko Brisbane ) - 125 points with carry over - 1 game even if he pleads guilty, for missing a bloke.
Jones ( Bulldogs on Terlich Melbourne ) - 325 points, early plea will make it 2 games.
( Hows this one )
Le Cras ( West Coast on Hoskin-Elliott GWS ) - 225 points, he's a good boy, 1 game with an early plea. Left the ground, shoulder to the head....W.T.F?
When I saw the Le Cras one I thought this is the one the game doesn't want, blokes leaving the ground with pretty much intent to hurt the other player only. I dunno....
That is absolutely ridiculous. He should be getting 3 at least for that
this proves conclusively that they take whether or not the other player got injured into account. Ridiculous.
Mark LeCras, West Coast, has been charged with a Level Two engaging in rough conduct offence (225 demerit points, two-match sanction) for engaging in rough conduct against Will Hoskin-Elliott, GWS Giants, during the first quarter of the Round Eight match between West Coast and the GWS Giants, played at Patersons Stadium on Sunday May 11, 2014.
In summary, due to a six-year good record, he can accept a one-match sanction with an early plea.
Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the GWS Giants Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level Two Offence, drawing 225 demerit points and a two-match sanction. He has an existing six-year good record, reducing the penalty by 25 per cent 168.75 points and a one-match sanction. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to 126.56 demerit points and a one-match sanction.
how in the hell was that only low impact. should have been medium at least.
