Being a Port supporter I would have thought you missed the obvious (for me at least) stand out as a full back in Corey Ah Chee. I thought that he was a fantastic player. I remember one state game where he absolutely murdered James Podsiadly and look what Pods has gone on to do. If you are going back to 1991 you have to remember the stars of that era. Mick Redden, Mark Naley, Brenton Phillips and Greg Phillips would be certainties for the team. Redden and Phillips are in North Adelaide's team of the century and Naley is a Magarey Medallist fit to be one in any era. And once again, Greg Phillips was still a champion in the early 1990s.
You have highlighted the flaw in every composite team that I have ever seen in that they are always skewed to the modern player with only the occasional high profile old timer named.

Come to think of it, so would I. I am guilty of what I have just been saying about these teams, in that the more recent players always take precedence.
