Prizemoney for a dog winning grade 5-4-3 on thursday nights
G5... $1000
G4....$1080
G3....$1100

As the grading rules stand with my understanding for a G4 dog
Win a G4 and get upgraded to a G3
OR
A downgrade to G5 after 3 unplaced G4 runs

Morally wrong ?

If a G4 dog was unplaced at its previous 2 runs would not connections
be too unhappy if the dog was unplaced a 3rd time and getting the downgrade.
After all winning a $1000 G5 is easier than winning a $1100 G3
If I was an owner i MIGHT nearly hope my dog was unplaced if not winning....

Thats Morally wrong....

The gap between a G3 +G5 is not great enough in my opinion in prizemoney
The system as is may be open to collusion ???

Sniveller seemingly thrives on back to back racing and holds form well
Likely to hunt up this draw and be extrememely competitive.
Last run from box 7 ran 29-79 with good early splits as well

Someone has pointed out to me that a G4 dog gets downgraded after 3
unplaced runs in the G4 grade.
I thought it was after 3 consequtive unplaced runs
Will check, unless someone posts confirmation.
