I'm lucky enough to be going to the Patriots @ Jets in December for my first live taste of NFL action.

Can't wait.

From what I've heard I'll need a good jacket!

For the first time in a while, the AFL season is worth following from a PAFC perspective- so I havent thought about the NFL thus far

Just looked at the Fantasy comp again. It seems we can keep a few players we each had last year. I know its a bit early but Im keen as.

All the guys in it from last year can just log in and they're ready to go.

Longview Locusts is the league manager, so we need him to set the draft date, etc. I don't know who that is on here though.

Jadeveon Clowney is ridiculous. Watch how fast he gets into the backfield. The gif at the bottom is a hit he laid in college. Ridiculous!!

Its only training camp (without pads) so he pulls up to prevent hurting his teammate. With him on one side and JJ Watt on the other, is suspect QBs are gonna be pooing their pants on most snaps.

Just over a week to go for preseason to start. To say im excited would be an understatement!

The Locusts is my team so happy to follow on again if people are interested.
We did the draft on a Sunday morning last year one or two weeks prior to the start any preferences?
It will be shorter as people will have their keepers.
I will need to ensure we have all teams that plan to continue to select keepers so I can reset league.

I've already selected my keepers, so hopefully the other guys have a go again this year.

Do we need everyone to continue to keep the same league?

Or can we take some out and put some in as we please?

No I can change people in or out I am not sure though whether I can reduce the overall size if we do not get enough.

Preseason in full swing today. 4 games going on at the same time. Im tuning in to the Pats Vs the Skins game, just because Ryan Mallett is starting instead of Brady.

I'm guessing Belichick is testing Mallett out against a first string defense, and if he bombs, he'll be traded before the real stuff starts. They have Garopollo waiting behind him. Malletts on the last year of his rookie contract, so if they keep him past this season, they'll have to pay him more, or lose him for nothing via free agency. At least if they move him now, they'll get something for him.

The Texans are a rumoured interested party. If he goes there, I'd say Keenum would be the one to leave.

I think if things keep going this way, Mallett may not be a Patriot at the end of the month.

Ill be out this season Alaska. With a newborn, i'm time poor.....or poor at making time haha! Either way i wont be able to commit to a draft.

Ill be sure to get on and create the tipping comp in the coming weeks though.
