Why would we subject O'Hara to the dirty tatics likely to be employed by the Eagles out of spite for a player leaving? Look what the Eagles tried to do to Wise and Toia last year at Woodville - 2 goals to North before the ball was bounced. You can serve it up but it will come back twice as hard this year. The word 'soft' will not be associated with the NAFC this year. I will put my money on Weatherley and Alleway (for starters) against any of the Eagles players if it comes down to showing hardness.
P.S. Perhaps the Eagles players can ask Adam Grocke about softness - it is a word he will be well versed with!

From my vantage point in the grandstand your guys in Wise and Toia both started the trouble. Hell we could go on and on here the best thing for us to do is go and watch round 1 and see which team wins :D And your correct I am just stirring if your thinking that  One more little stirr Drebin are Wise and toia both still at NAFC ?

Cheers
Mickyj
ps Drebin have great weekend mate that will be me yeling in round 1

lmao@Mickyj, I have the game on DVD if you want to recount your thoughts on the game.
They were targetted from before the ball was bounce, luckily while the Eagles were up to their shennagins North were kicking goals and setting up a match winning lead.
I'll make you a copy if you want. :D

I'd back O'Hara against Linday any day of the week, I used to say that when they both played for the Eagles, in fact I thought the Eagles won more games convincingly earlier in some season when O'Hara led the ruck. Good idea to throw Weatherly or Alleway in there early though and one I hadn't though of, we've got so many forwards we must as well as use a couple of them in a "Feast like" manouvre to hurt the opposition ruckman early and then bring our tall guys on to dominate after that, smart.

This game is going to have a very big build up and should be a ripper, I think we can all agree on that, can't wait for it, I'm tipping a 5 goal win to North! :D

Wedgie we should be building this game up mate get a huge crowd in and of course watch the eagles win an away game. :D Could be an interesting game your backline and our backline both should be tested and we have picked up more midfielders .
But you haven't answered my question are Toia and Wise both still at Prospect ?

Sorry mate, didn't see it, Toia's gone back last year straight after the Ressies GF.
Last I heard Wise had family issues and the first thing I heard was it was unlikely he'd be back, then I head it wasn't as bad as first though and he'd back soon but I haven't heard anything since.
The only good thing about Wise being away was the club gave me his Player's Darwin top when they stuffed my order up for a supporters polo, so if you see me at the game and I have "Wise" on the back just pretend I'm smart! :P
That's if I don't get "UN" embroided before it.
(I covered the name with an aboriginal flag sticker in Darwin, did the trick nicely ;))
Wisey would have swum in this top though as it fitted me perfectly!
