I reckon he would be behind the likes of Heppell, Goddard, Hibberd, Hooker. But should figure in top 10.

A few of the young ones were werent around when all the stuff happened could be used, although i would doubt they will put guys like Ambrose up for trade. Zaharakis didnt get jabbed during it all (his wussy fear of needles could save his career) and could be used as a trade for earlier picks.

I would suggest Zaharakis is a required player and reasonably central to Essendon's future plans.

How about........ Now I dunno if I'm serious here or what....

Liam Jones in a straight swap for John Butcher...

Both have shown potential and maybe a change of club would breathe life into them...

Either way we need. Jones gone, has done nothing for ages yet keeps his spot on the list... If it is either keep him on the list or trade then pull the trigger...

You do know only approx 19 current Essendon players got SC notices, would be just able to field a side if all get done, barring injuries of course ;)

Top 10 but probably not top 5.
If it was done now id think Heppell or Paddy would win it.
Hibberd, Goddard and Hooker probably ahead of him aswell IMO

May do but we dont have much to offer.
Depending on priority picks we have a pick around 19-20ish, I think the club will just try to pick someone who suits our needs as there still should be some good talent in draft that deep.
Cant see much action this year for us

I wouldn't expect much trade noise from the bombers. With pick 19th in the draft I think they'll be happy with that. There list is not terrible in fact its good. Look at the KPP. Good structure at the moment. Maybe needing some mid grunt but still looms good.

Need another key defender aswell. Cupboard bare once Fletch hangs up the boots.
Malceski appears to be leaving the Swans, would be a good get for plenty of Melbourne sides

Hopefully we give up our top 3 draft pick and go hard at Jeremy Cameron or Jonathon Patton.
Really need to land a key forward, but this year's draft is thin on big fellas.

On the right track Nuggety but we wont be doing a player trade.

If we are going to offload Butcher (which I think we should):

Jones will leave us in exactly the same position- therefore, we will prob look at Butcher/2nd-3rd round pick.

More like, no one will want Butcher, and will be delisted (if Port can swallow its pride) and at best rookie listed by an other club.

Yeah this is true too. Port have done a lot right in the last few years, so they are due to get one wrong.

Really need to land a key forward, but this year's draft is thin on big fellas.

By all reports, if Cameron moves club (which is likely I would say), it will be to a club closer to where he grew up - I've seen Geelong and the 2 SA clubs mentioned as possible destinations.

If I had to take a guess though, I'd say he'd end up at Carlton.
