Good to see south playing in the first game so if it is close, we will need the Port and Norwood supporters to help us get the guys over the line. Enjoy the Chris Gowan's tweet about jumping on the wagon, if only he did it while he was still playing.

I know it has been told before, but the Gowans' twins almost went to South Adelaide...

But, they weren't as impressed with Greg Anderson as they were with Peter Jonas and thought that Noarlunga was too far away !!!

Being Northern suburbs boys from Melbourne, they wanted to stick with that geographical theme here in Adelaide, as well

Probably more to do with the brown paper bag being full at CDFC and only coins in the SAFC one.

No, not quite. I think having Noarlunga spruiked to them as "the Bondi of SA" also came into the equation
