Think you heard wrong didnt tear strips he was as calm as ever just seemed very frustrated did mention Russian roulette but said that players chased kicks and played Bees to a honeypot. Never said YOUR club cant win pressure games said that it wasnt a 10, 20 goal win our club needs against these top sides. Its just a win 1 point, 2 points, 3 points is all it could take to turn things around. Hes right we just need to break the duck and get that confidence that we can match it with M/Vale.

We are to unaccountable and said that we need to learn from them how they run hard both ways and that our disposal cost us as well they were cleaner and we missed 4 or 5 easy goals. He was annoyed it seemed that it was an oppurtunity missed for now.

What is the general feel down there about Anderson was he worth the effort or do you think Porter would have been in the same position right now with that team?

My mail is that there are some frustrated senior players with Ando, by all reports the B grade coach is more of a players coach and seems to be very well liked. Not sure that Ando puts too much time into researching who he is playing and which teams strengths are what etc.. Perhaps they thought he may bring some quality players from other clubs i.e Gaza, i believe a couple have worked out but i think one is playing 2's.

I heard that Morphies dont have many talls down back? Swooper hinted at some weakness in the backlines for Morphies and 'The Lova' said Gaskin and Smith dominated the Cove forwards, but those blokes arent giants.

Do Morphies lack depth down back, especially in the talls department?

Think defence is probably the only area of concern for Morphies in the A’s. Gaskin and Smith were real solid on Saturday but if either of them go down then I’m not sure who they could use down the back of the spine?

Not sure if Mexican was having a lend or not about a player coming back from O/S. Pretty sure I know who he is referring to (3 time premiership player I think and most at fullback) If he is keen to play and can get some fitness then that will cover that area of concern.

Consider that area covered Swooper... No lending here...

I don't know who Cove had, but didn't Morphies have a similar bloke for the last few years. Could take a big grab, but couldn't rely on his kick too much.

That bloke's name is Luke Weidermann association CHF last year... The move of Ramsey into defense i thought was good they were 3 nil down at that stage the move was made and they went into qtr time in front...he created them with plenty of opportunities and run from the back and with Heath missing he took over that role...Played CHB for pretty well all game after that which explains his not kicking a goal...Yes he is still captain down there and was good on the weekend think he was 4th best!!
The mail on Anderson, from what ive heard, is wrong. The senior players really like him, he and Geoff Bevan have fitted in really well...Porter may have had them in the same position now, but i feel this side will improve closer to the finals better under Anderson and Bevan. Once these 2 have had time to work with them and now they have seen MVale and whats needed...Add Heath, Padroth, Hare and White to that side and improvement already....And don't forget Cove's 2's won prety comfortably so some of those guys you would expcect will come in.
Issacs still getting used to the league will improve with game time...he went there as really good mates with Ramsey

Lorraine played in a few flags for Kangarilla as well i think, so he has had some success along the way for a player with limited skill.
I've seen the helicopter kicks from Short, but a lot of them go straight. He cops more about his hairstyle which deflects attention away from his kicking ability.
Morphies have another full forward that gets a shoelace on them at every opportunity just to add to his tally...

Are you talking about that pollard. hes got a few shoelaces on a couple of cheapies so far this year ive heard but youd expect a few cheapies from 60 odd goals i guess.

you seem to know a bit about the emus. Do you play there.... or anywhere..... or are you just one of those fat beer guzzlers that only watches but has an opinion on everyoneand everything?

I guess you're right LOVA, when you kick so many goals in a season quite a few of them would be shoelaces.

Good call about sitting on the sidelines and having an opinion. Thats me in a nutshell. What are you on this forum for?

I take your point about fat beer guzzlers...when i go to Morphies games i see quite a few of them on the sidelines near the BBQ area having an opinion about everyone and everything...

I know there a couple of games out but I can see the cocklies grabbing fourth spot by the end of the year. I reckon they can beat cove and bdos in the next month and snatch it from brighton.

P.S. in this comment ive knocked the bombers. this mite bring the very quite "Franky" out from his townhouse. I know it been a bit cold lately but you can only sip so many lattes to warm yourself up.

Think your probly giving Porties a touch too much credit Lova. They have def been Morphies toughest game this year but every year they pull something out the bag against the Emus. They are just not consistent enough over a season. Mind you in a do or die final I think Morphies would rather play Reynella or Cove then Porties. But I cant see them finishing higher then Brighton, Cove or Reynella at the end of the regular season. Cant see anyone outside the top 4 putting up a challenge.

The blokes your refering too must be the MOB. they are past PLAYERS from the club that have PLAYED, quite a few of them are past premiership PLAYERS and the like with the occasional one or two having a couple too many beers for the last few years and putting on an extra couple.

I am on this site for opinions most definately. its just that sometimes opinions are held in higher regard when they come from someone that has at least PLAYED the game. how many times have you pulled on the footy boots there dutchy.

we will have to have this convo in 4-5 weeks swooper. I may be overcrediting the cocklies but just feel they could be the "sleeping challenger" for the 4. I gather you have written off the viking as a challenger

Vikings havent beaten anyone of significance and have been beaten comprehensively by Reynella & Cove. Did see that Beard and Raymond were in the best on the weekend tho - dont think they've played much footy this year. If they can get them fit and Sugg as well to compliment Mahar and Mckenzie then they could cause an upset but their A's havent showed much so far.

I dont mind saying that i have only pulled on the boots a hand full of times LOVA. Would have loved the opportunity to play more but wasnt good enough. Now i just have a love for the game and know how to push peoples buttons which i have clearly achieved here. Sorry for upsetting you...

Opinions are held in higher regard from someone that has played the game you say? Is that why Morphies were so unsuccessful under T Potts?

Sounds like you play in the SFL for Morphies and rate yourself pretty highly. Any ambitions of playing higher, or have you reached your peak?

Sorry to hear you werent good enough dutchy. Is that why you go around trying to antagonize people. Please try and refrain form taking out your shortcomings on others.

My buttons are far from pushed and the correct tense is played for morphies.

I think you will find that although not at a very high level Trevor Potts played a fair amount of games in his playing days. Certainly has a good idea of the game. Not sure if the same can be said of you just yet.

You have a good idea of whats happening at emu land Im Surprised we havent crossed paths.
Or maybe you get some of those opinions from other spectators….. just didnt know that RMFL spectators knew that much about the SFL.

Not sure if antagnoise is the word, maybe plant the seed would be more accurate, which i have clearly done as indicated by your replies...

I've seen an even share of SFL, RMFL and SAAFL games this year. Its good to see other styles of play and close results. Maybe you should get out more now your playing days are over? Also get plenty of feedback about things on and off the ground, most of which is posted on this website.

So your an ex player? Is that your credentials for having a good knowledge of the game? How many games did you rack up? Win any flags? Captain any sides?
