They have already won the flag in their minds... I am sure the good people who have worked so hard to change the feeling / perception of the club would be appalled. Hopefully it gets back to the powers that be and these lads get pulled into line....

I hope they stamp out this behaviour as these lads are the future of that club but they were an total embarresment on Saturday. If it were my club I would be taking action by advising the president and making sure it never happened again or I would leave the club, who is the coach of that side and where was he?
Im glad I didn't take my family to the footy that day as I would have been embarrassed exposing them to that abuse/foul language (no excuse anyway). I have lost a lot of respect for that club involved but its also a bad look for the PLFL on the big stage (finals). I see they had security gaurds patrolling but they did nothing.

I thought there must have been an incident during the game or something to see that type of abuse/swearing (no excuse anyway) , but sounds like they were abusive all game then. Its the type of incident that could have incited a huge brawl as emotions were high after a close game by the looks of it, well done to players and coaching staff who played on the day for not reacting to the immature foul abuse that I witnessed.

It was disgusting and that club should be ashamed. Did anyone else hear it and know what it was about? Did I miss something?

Bit of feeling because a few Souths players moved to Bostons.
My lad copped a bit during the game ( thing is that the loudest mouth that directed abuse at him the week before was gutless) and had a bit of a shit time of it at school the week before they played them.

Seems a little distasteful in many respects. "Karma is an amazing thing"

On the field, Waybacks played an extremely workmanlike game, whilst they are not going to be "world beaters" on that performance, they have progressed to a prelim final.

I was amazed at the amount of time and space Toby Rawson was given, he was simply magnificent for the demons! I do agree with BTB about Tyler Franklin, he was also superb for the tigers, they must be hoping they can keep his services into the future.

The umpiring as a whole i thought was OK except for some portions of the game where one umpire in particular just couldn't resist exerting his influence. Quite a crucial couple of minutes before the half time siren. Both Ways!!

It will be interesting to see if Tasman's can finally name a full strength side. BTB did you ever get an answer to the question of where & why Binns did not play in Round 15? Was is it a reoccurence of his previous ailment?
Any news on whether Harry Miller and Ainsley Betts will be available for the peckers?

 I used the world beaters sledge based on a prominent Waybacks supporter using the term to describe his team!!

Play on, too good and about the result I expected

Guilty as charged.
And we know very well where we sit in the scheme of things. The world would have to crash in on the Roosters & Peckers for us to win this year, but we are still alive and have a chance....... Now just waiting for the Apocalypse %-(

Did his non appearance have anything to do with the rumored return of Wagner? The plot thickens!!

yeah heard the same, an official complaint has been made but Souths don't believe much will come of it. Hopefully the club will deal with it.....

This weeks game......

If we are to believe Bluey, both teams will be at full strength. (I don't always believe him!!!) That should make for a good game. I think Tasman's will be too strong with their class all over the field proving too much for the peckers.

As for the reserves, it all hinges on the rather large shoulders of Russell Carbine and his availability. He didn't play round 15 and in all likely hood will be a big difference in this match. I hope the demons can get up but wouldn't be surprised if the Peckers prevail. Fitness & neutral umpires could be the key to this match.

Does anyone know if Tasman's are letting their gun Under 17's play both games on the weekend. If Brown, Tansell and Sinclair play in the 17's they will win easily but if not, Bostons have a real chance. Hopefully one of our rooster posters can let us know if a set policy has been made for this.

Good luck to all.

Tasman have to strongest side they have had all year I'm tipping them to win by 17 points also heard few oh the peckers boys have taken to Facebook after being dropped to the B grade
Mallee's to win the b grade by 12
Under 17 Tasman to win by a goal

Also tipping ramblers to beat eyre united
Eastern rangers to make it 3 in a row in EE
And elliston to knock central eyre in a upset in mid west

I find facebook a great way to vent.
As we have seen all in recent years the roosters will be far to fit for the peckers, the peckers still have a lot of lazy overweight footballers and that always gets exposed in the second half of big matches. I will say that the roosters are a 5 -8 goal better side with a full list to chose from and given calm conditions. They will win.
Reserves could go either way and I will be supporting Tasmans in the senior colts after being exposed to the abuse from the other side last week.

On the umpiring I thought Staunton, beebey gun or Blewitt might get a go before Heaven.

Why did that tasman player play on in the dying seconds?

Looking forward to the prelim. Tasmans will win but should be a cracker.
