Looking at Wedgies post about Bill Wedding playing 19 state games who played the most ?
Is there a list of who played the most games ?

Walter Scott holds the record with 39 I think. Lindsay Head played 37.

6 mins.....was there ever any doubt....
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

39 !!!!!!! Oh well he was a Norwood player so thats ok......the old timers say he was maybe the best ever.
I say Lindsay Head play and he was an absolute freak slow as slow but no one could grab him. Beautiful drop kick too.

Is there a list of state games played ? Dont want much do I ?

Makes you wonder though...guys like Ricuto...McLeod....Bassett...Goodwin......how many will they play ?
Bring back state footy !!!!

Forgot about this one - I post in too many threads :)

The Carnivals played in those times helped the state game tally. Head played all of these matches by 1964; there were a further 18 matches after this he didn't play in.
