Actually great idea, night games only, would love to go to the footy on Friday or Saturday night in shorts and tee, Beers would go down so easy !

NTFL = Northern Territory Football League.
They play during the NT "Wet" season (I think that's what they call it) which equates to our off season.
Starts early Oct and goes through until about mid March, I believe (they have a break in there for a few weeks over Christmas and New Year).
Teams such as St Marys (last year's premiers), Waratah, Darwin Buffaloes, Palmerston, Wanderers, Nightcliff, Tiwi Bombers (Bathurst Island based)

check out www.aflnt.com.au - they have a season preview up there today.

Occasionally you see players you recognise from SANFL - Brant Chambers turned up last year, as did Daniel Motlop, Josh Cubillo, Matt Campbell.

Can tell you about up to 12 North Adelaide players will be running around the NTFL during the season

I think a break is good. Lets us all see our relax and take a breath. Tough gig to play something like 10 - 11 months of football.

I'm hearing, at this stage, that this 'Summer Trial' between the Eagles and West will be played next Friday night at Thebby?

Dolling badly injured, may lose his spleen. From what I've heard, game was close at half time but a strong Eagles side won by plenty in the end.
