You can still PM from a post etc....
But you need to remove all the quoted text.

I have NO idea why this is happening... bu tI've been looking in to it the last few hours.

Message went something like, Embedded Quotes. You may only have upto 4 embedded quotes.
Just did a post instead and was fine.

Yeah, thats a setting not a fault, when you get to a page which has a quote of a quote of a quote, etc 5 or more times it gets very ugly and starts to do weird things with the size of the page, we've set it to accept no more than 4 in a row, we will try to encourage people to just quote the parts of topics they're referring to.

Good point. Remember one post where everyone (me included) tried to see how small the 1st quote woud get.

Yeah its still an issue with quotes in PMs, myself and Diss have been investigating in our spare time but still haven't found out what the bug is, it doesn't seem to have happened on other similar sites.
Probably one of the hassles of having software that is relatively new (only in its 2nd form post beta).
We'll still on the case!
