Good game that. Rough conditions.

So much for sheedy not playing. Had a quiet one anyways.

Is the dude that got cleaned up in the last quarter alright? Good bloke - as was no. 11

That coffey dude was running amok in the first half. Good player.

You guys must have been missing a few I reckon.

And Sammy Morris' job on whenan - superb. Absolute bath.

Yeah, you guys were too good in the last quarter. Those 2 goals against the breeze near the end of the 3rd quarter knocked the wind out of our sails and you had your tail up. Our inaccuracy in front of goal really cost us in the end. We should have been further in front at 3 quarter time, and needed to be, to hold off a late run.

Couldn't believe how windy it was. Is it always like that?

The guy who knocked himself out is suffering from a bit of concussion.

Turbo, number 3 in the B's?

When we play each other on a nice day it is going to be a great contest. We won in the wet, you won in the wind.

Nah thats the dude that actually gets called turbo - turbo is just what i use on the net.

Played a's, up forward for msot of the day and wing as well, No. 10. Pretty quiet day for me.

Definately agree that those two goals in the 3rd changed the whole game.

Its normally pretty windy at SMosh cause its so open, but I reckon thats close to the worst its been.

Was like a damn superflood though. Stayed in one half of the ground for the whole quarter.

What has happened to Iggies? Seem to have fallen in a whole. Have heard that their captain Calabrese has been out the last few weeks and they havent won since. Doesnt surprise me though. Of what I saw of them earlier in the year, he seems to really marshall his troops well.

Has anyone seen them over the last few weeks?

Hey Turbo was that your full strengh side on saturday & If not how many have you got to come back in.
The raggies i recon still have 1 or 2 players to come back in....
Walkerville this week should be interesting to see how the raggies respond.
Watching the Raggies in the last qtr was terrible, i couldnt stand to watch it so i went home.
Can i say blublurag when coffee gave away 25m in the first minute of the game in front of goal (which they marked the ball in the goal sq anyway) then he came off the ground due to new team rules & then came back on about 1 minute later. What is the point of keeping your gun players of the ground for a minute (Duigan, Coffee & Hopper) (it unsettles the side) but if its a (not a star player) steed, Jars, Ruch then they are off for 5-10 minutes.... So depending on the impact of the player will determine how much time they spend on the bench. Where’s the fairness in that.

Im not a huge fan of this rule....

That sounds liek a load of crap with regards to time off the ground. Add that to what you guys have said with the blatant dislike for the raggies coach...

We're travelling alright. Plenty of depth out at SMOShies though with a strong B grade.

Yeah- Rolf is a great player and there is no-one at div 3 level who can match up on him but he has only played 5 or 6 games this year and they were winning early in the season without him. Of what I've seen over the past couple of seasons, Calabrese seems to be the one that gets them going. Best ruckman going around, feeding his rovers and a real leader on the field.

Calm down Orts - Big Call

Is this Rolf writing this himself.

Good player but i wouldnt say no-one at div 3 level would be able to match up on him.

I wouldnt say he dominate's Div 3 either -

Carlo is probally the best Ruckman going around in Div 3 at the moment.

He'd be a better player if he could speak english and stopped whinging about umpiring decisions all the time, as pointed out by several of our players on the field.

i have been reading the SAFooty site for the past 4 months and find it really interesting to read comments from other supporters / players from this division.
Cruzn9 seems to be on a lot which i dont mind, as i said i read most of what is put on there BUT the comment of some bloke running 60m to king hit an Athelstone player is utterly false. I am not condoning what he did because it was stupid (sort of a shirt front to the back) but we dont need false reports on incidents that didnt happen. Why do think no Athelstone player retaliated?............because it did not happen.
And yes Danny Walton is a good fair player as some other members have stated but sometimes if you get punched in the mouth you gotta give it back. Thats when all the crap started at 3qtr time because Danny was hit.
Cruzn9 please keep sending in your two bobs worth cause i like reading it, i really do, but i must admit i will have to read your comments with just a pinch of salt in the future.
We have a couple of idiots that tarnish our club (who hasnt) and things will be changing but i think a majority of EPFC's so called reputation is events that happened years & years ago, but you know what they say "shit sticks".

he is not the Payney of old, to busy thinking about coaching, fair enough.
been trying to get him to play A's as a pinch hitter cause i think he can still worry a few sides.
you never know, keep an eye on the goal kickers section in the next few weeks.
i've been helping the A's for the last 5 weeks since retiring.
