Cassio and the Reds officially part ways today

Hope they sign a new player, maybe a striker during the transfer window

Think we are fine with djite and Sanchez. A central mid would be good imo, to replace jeggo

Jeggo is a joke.
If all the mids are fit we are ok, Ferreira should start more, still a bit flakey at the back but definately need an out and out striker. We dominate sides in the middle of the ground but lack a quality finisher. Bruce just isnt good enough at finishing. You put Berisha in our side and we are top of the league IMO. We also lose Mabil for maybe atleast 2 weeks so need to find some pace out wide. Was a real pity Teeboy suffered his illness and didnt come along as hoped

Ferreira is out for 3 weeks with a hamstring injury. With the break for the Asian cup coming up soon should help him a bit

He did spend a lot of pre-season in a moon boot which wouldn't have helped. Fully fit he's almost impossible stop down the wing.

Wont be with us much longer.
Got a 2 week trial with Ajax in the New Year and they are very keen on him. Dont think he will return from the trial. Will be awesome for him to get into their system

Teeboy Kamara, young African lad brought up through the local comp after coming here as a kid. Played his first A-League game as a 15yo, plenty of pace and was developing nicely. For some reason just dropped off tge radar and left, think he had some health issues

Mabil at a world class club has serious potential. His poise then to set up United's 2nd goal was very impressive for such a young bloke.

Good solid win by United.
Ref made a statement early and was dishing out cards like confetti.
Pretty good all round effort by the lads

Not a great night tonight, really lacked Eugene's leadership. We had plenty of the ball but couldnt put them away and were deservedly punished. Once again Jeggo was ******* useless, even resorted to heckling him tonight

Hope going to Kardiniar Park for AFL is better organised than tonight's game was.

But 2 cracking goals and an A grade diving display from the victory made for a decent night out.

Oh by the way WE ARE TOP THE LEAGUE :D

United win 2-1, pretty good game considering it was 40 degrees when the game started.
Wish we could play Perth everyweek, we seem to lift against them

Would have been tough in that heat, thought we controlled the 2nd half well. Once again we created a number of chances throughout the game but our finishing let us down!
