Thebarton oval is a good oval. Herd something on saturday they might have Netural night games in the future. The lighting is fantatic saw it first hand last week during West Adeilaide traing

Would be great. I'm a big fan of the older suburban grounds. Central location. Only problem is the questionable pub across the road.

I would prefer it to Adelaide for neutral games and so would my lad. At least he can have a kick at Thebby.

True Theile, for a major arterial road, public transport on that part of south road is lacking.

There's a bus that runs down Ashley St going to city, however by the time you get to the city, you may miss the last bus or train to go home that night.

Good grief.

Take your pick of these night services -

286 and 287 in Ashley Street / Philips/West Thebarton Road to either the city or Henley Beach
113 and 118N on South Road to city or West Lakes and Port Adelaide

I agree with you on the lighting, I think that it's better then Norwood and better then Elizabeth, but that's only my thoughts.

Has the lighting improved since the ANZAC day game, becuase the lights were useless that evening (and they didn't even have them all on).

Having said that, if it has improved, then bring on the night games at Thebby.

I was a regular at the place BEHIND that place - I had a girlfriend who lived on the side street behind them!
I didn't know until we were out the front a few years ago and saw some, ermm, questionable people :)
