The whole thing is simply for entertainment, slogging, music, fire works etc
Half the players in the Strikers have NO connection to SA or Adelaide at all.
FWIW Brad Hogg is still the most dangerous looking spinner Australia have imo.
The last time i saw him get carted was Boof Lehmann in one of his last one day matches for SA. Made him look stupid.
Havent seen a batsman since do what Boof did to him that night.
I care more about this than I did the matador cup. Maybe it's just because it's much easier to watch all of the games etc but saying it means nothing is an outdated view imo.

Embarrassing to see Chuck arguing with the umpires after the game

personally i agree with JJ... I could not give a rats if the strikers win or not.
Opinion isn't outdated it's just different from yours.

You would have to admit that the domestic 50 over comp this year was pathetic and needs to return to the old format for it to regain its validity. for a comp to be over in a month without having played any home games was pointless. What di they get to the National final? 800-maybe 1,000.
I have no problem with you not caring but you have to admit that 85,000+ in the last two home games means that there are plenty of cricket fans and new cricket fans who do.

Coach Bombay wrote:in chucks defence it was pathetic by the umpires not to do anything about perth cheating during the field restrictions. It was the last ball of the 2nd or 3rd over and they had 3 spuds fielding on the fence, when you can only have two spuds in the first 6 overs.
I was surprised how light the penalty (nothing) was.
For mine, Perth should have either lost a fielder for an over, or had the power play extended by an over.
Very average. Might as well play with as many fielders outside the circle until one of the spuds dobs you in.

The penalty is the umpire calls 'no ball', would that then be a free hit?

England leaving him out of their World Cup squad is hilarious

Yep and iirc has been dropped from the England side in all 3 forms
Does make me laugh though how on Facebook all my mates who only follow t20 and aussies tests in Aus were bagging the crap out of the Engkish selectors
Cricket does get played outside of Aus ffs
He now averages with the bat at international level
25- tests
15- ODI
12- t20
With the ball averages
32- tests
35- ODI (with an economy of 6.5)
0- t20 (no wickets in 7 games)
