ROUND 14 LEAGUE CHARGES WITHDRAWN

The SANFL wishes to advise that the two League reports from Round 14 have now been withdrawn.
Following a video review of the incidents, umpires Tony Dey and Tim Pfeiffer have withdrawn the charges
against James Gowans (Central District) for allegedly striking Sam Rudolph (Glenelg) and Matthew Cooper
(Woodville-West Torrens) for alleged high contact against Jesse Smith (West Adelaide).

Then Tony Dey ought to spend a week in the reserves. Glenelg was streaming goalwards when Dey stopped play to make his report. His ineptitude therefore cost Glenelg a certain goal. Well, alright, a certain behind.

From where I was standing it looked like James had connected......then again, Rudolph may have had the red nose before the contact !
