they had a crack at div 3 i beg to differ ........................they played in div 3 but failed to play like other years and fielded below par team week in week out now they have money and are relegated and have a semi decent squad they should have to replace another side that has done exactly the same thing

Apart from the logistical/administrative/planning nightmare this would create I have some sympathy for this view.
Having a 9 team Div 3 or 4 while having 10 team Divs 4-8 is ridiculous (although I understand that everyone is a victim of circumstance).

Every time I've been involved in a league that has one my bye is always either Round 1 or Round 9 meaning that it results it a fortnight's break (sometimes leading into finals). It's quite irritating
