Recruit Going Home?

Postby Dutchy » Wed Jul 11, 2007 6:47 pm

Which high profile recruit has already told his club he is heading home after only 1 year of his 2 year contract?

Thats twice in 2 seasons for this club....$$$ doesnt get results if the desire aint there...

Ill have to dig up the thread but I did warn of this at the beginning of the season, before a game was played...

Wouldn't be surprised if it is Westies and Ben Galea.

A bit of where are they now, I know the South fans are keen to know how Brent Tuckey is going since he left South.

Brent was BOG for Stawell as they beat Horsham by 5 pts on the weekend. Horshams first loss in 44 games...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Galea seems to have patched things up. In saying that, it was mentioned in the VFL section of an AFL "newspaper" that there is a family issue or something.

I doubt that Dean Galea would be regarded as a high profile recruit.

Why would it be? The opening post said "High profile recruit" not "Weird hairstyle and can barely play a bit recruit".

And in TOTALLY unrelated news 8)

How has Mark Le Cras been going this year Port fans?

And where is he originally from, Melbourne?

We have been having cold/rainy weather, maybe it reminds him of home...
He's still my hero even if he is a little bit crap.
