The selectors are stupid, at least Tait is better than some of what is over there at the moment. 8 wkts @ under 20 should be saying something. Just look at MacGill averages 2 wkts a game in the ING comp and can't make the side.

No, not neccessarily, espescially given that Tait is 22y.o. compared to Gillespie 30.
Must admit that I didn't think that Gillespie could come back the way he has maybe now someone will come out and admit he was playing injured through the Ashes, it didn't look like the same bowler and he was bowling an average of 10kph less with no movement in his deliveries.

Must admit that I didn't think that Gillespie could come back the way he has maybe now someone will come out and admit he was playing injured through the Ashes, it didn't look like the same bowler and he was bowling an average of 10kph less with no movement in his deliveries.

30 means nothing. Lehamnn got a recall at 32. Gillespie is the 5th highest wicket taker in Australian Test History the fact he is 30 means nothing. He will be picked if he is deemed to be in good enoughy from.
