Depth has been a real problem for us over the last few years so this will help. I haven't heard much about Nathen Grocke except that he was out at training, hopefully he might add something as well.

With Adam at the Eagles (between Harris Scarfe photo shoots) and Nathan at Norwood, and I'm assuming Christian is still at North as well as Dad John at the NAFC on the board, mum Margaret is going to be busy driving all over the place!

Any news on these names from the Eagles homepage
BRENDAN BAILEY
CRAIG FITZGERALD
NICK SALTER
Sorry if they have been mentioned before I could have missed the post.

Thanks
Michael

Bailey played a few games in the seconds last year in the back pocket and comes from the NT. He has been down training with the club again this year since Xmas.

Fitzgerald is an young (16-17yo?) under-age player new to the club - midfield type. I think he's the nephew of the one and only tennis star!

Nick Salter has been at the club for a while now and has played at the last 2 U/18 National Champs for SA. Hugely talented and versitile lad still eligible for the U/19s I think.

Mark Alvey a departure for Port Adelaide (some chance still but slight at best)

Apparently he left to the tune of the old Rodney Rude number

You can take Denis Redden of the Sturt "in" list- the ATO sold him to CMS Crows!

Whoops, thanks for that, I'd already advised the sturt fans at doubleblue.org but forgot to update the Ins/Outs page, but is done now.

O'Sullivan, Hayes and Clarke are already on the list, Brittain rings a bell for some reason but I haven't added him yet, cant remember why.

Given that Nathan Groke played for Norwood the other night he could be counted as an in for us and another out for North.

If I put every loss from every club's U19s side we'd have another 100 outs!
Where do I draw the line?

I think that only players who played a League game in 2005 should be included in the outs.

well, if he went to another club, he can be listed as an IN for them and an OUT for the club he played for previously regardless...dont have to list all that leave just those that end up somewhere else.

Its good to have a detailed list. Only having the lesser names as ins might solve the problem. We all know who all the big names are, its probably the lesser names that having been discussed as a thread by itself that interests me.

If Travis Oakley is an IN for the Eagles he surely must be an OUT for the Roosters. Spiro Darzanos and Scott Freeborn both played league matches for the Eagles in 2005 but have now retired, maybe they should be included in the Eagles OUT list. Brendan Baley played 10 Reserves games in 2005 so not an IN for 2006. Nick Salter has played U17, U19 & Reserves for the Eagles over a few years now so not an IN for 2006. Chad Dawe and Chris Martin should also be added to the 2006 OUT list.

Wedgie - my mail on C Fitzgerald on the Eagles Ins list - is that he's probably miles away from the senior list. Just a skinny young kid trying out like 100 of the same type in all clubs. Would recommend taking him out for accuracy/consistency sake.
